Bhutanese Traditional Dress 🇧🇹

The national Dress of Bhutan is the "Gho" and  "Kira"  GHO: A long, knee-length robe, often worn with a white jacket underneath called a tego.  The Gho is typically made of silk or cotton and can be woven in various patterns.  It's held in place with a hand-woven belt called a kera.  The Gho is a symbol of national pride and identity for Bhutanese men.  KIRA: A long, ankle-length dress made from a rectangular piece of cloth.  The Kira is wrapped around the body and pinned at the shoulders, usually with silver brooches called koma.  It's often worn with a blouse called a wonju underneath.  A short jacket or toego may be worn over the Kira, and a rachu (a narrow, embroidered cloth) may be draped over the shoulder on special occasions.
